GET READY TO DIE!

土曜は講談社試験を一緒に受けてた華月と試験後合流し、池袋へ。
まず新宿書店へ。奴のことだからきっと何か買うだろうと思ったら何か買ってた。
俺はパピポ5月号購入。うろたん大先生の単行本は6月下旬発売予定らしい。
そのあと光芳書店で松本零士の何かとあすなひろしの何かを購入。

メルティブラッドアクトカデンツァが稼動開始したことを思い出してギーゴへ行ってみたらありましたよ、メルブラ。台は2×2の四台で、そのうちひとつの画面を別ディスプレイで移して観戦できるようになってた。見た感じワラキアが簡単そうな気がしたんだが、プレイしてた人間がどちらも上手くないからそう見えただけなのかも知れん。しかしこんなオタのためのパーティーゲームが本当にアーケードに姿を現すとはなー。上級者同士がプレイするとどんな対戦風景になるのかちょっと気になるところではある。

その後とらのあなにも行って天狗で飲む。

華月と分かれた後は渋谷に戻ってQMAで時間をつぶした後スポランへ。
キーパーが仲間と対戦を行うとのことなので、くっついてギャラリってました。
メンバーはキーパー、だーます君、渋谷ブロリー君たち。ときど軍団と自称してたようだ。
だーます君は漫画好きらしいのでまたいずれ機会があったらその辺も話してみたい。
あと渋谷ブロリー君が対戦で着席するときに右足を尻の下に敷いてたんだけど、尻痛くないのかな。

まぁそんな感じで観戦をしているとしうめいという男から電話が。
「麻雀やってる。面子余ってる。プイ早く来い」とのこと。
そういえばキーパーが麻雀したがってたので話を振ってみると物凄い勢いで来たがった。
結局キーパーはときど軍団の他の二人を置いて俺と共に雀荘へ向かうことになってしまった。
ほんとすいません。まぁキーパーは数半荘やって抜けるってことだったけど。

で、麻雀。最初に激勝ちした後に負け続け、最終的には-22。この時点で俺は抜けて帰宅した。
本当はもっと早い段階で抜けたかった。ひろしさんに吸われる展開が見えてたので。

寝て起きてときど軍団と合流。ニュートンにサードの闘劇予選を見に行くのだ。
キーパーが昨日漫画貸してくれと言ってたので、合流するときにそれも持っていった。
選んだタイトルは、銃夢、バード(青山の)、銀の三角、魔界転生。
渋谷駅でだーます君と別れ、巣鴨から三田線に乗り換えるルートで志村三丁目に向かう。
途中、渋谷ブロリー君からIKKIの面白い話が聞けた。飯は巣鴨の大戸屋で。

ニュートンはサードの猛者たちでごった返してた。
野試合を観戦しているうちに予選が始まった。詳しくはキーパー日記参照。キーパー残念！
全国大会の店舗予選を見るのは初めてなんだけど、応援が激しかったなー。
プレイヤーの耳にはどんな風に聞こえてるんだろ。あんまり気にしちゃ駄目なんだろうけど。

あと思ったことは、闘劇は人気作・プレイヤーの多い作品ほどチーム戦になりがちなんだけど、それってプレイヤー同士の交友関係とか住んでる地域とかの影響を個人戦に比べて強く受けちゃう気がした。イベントの都合上チーム戦になるってのは理解できるけど、客としては個人戦で見てみたい気持ちもやっぱりあるのよね。

予選終了後は再び猛者たちの野試合。キーパーがヌキに初白星をあげてた。ウヒョ。
直前にヌキに乱入したケンがパンピーだったため、自分もパンピーを装ってたらしいけど。
リンガーハットで飯食ってもうちょっと野試合見てからキーパーと渋谷へ戻る。
ツタヤとブックファースト行って、帰宅。

ってことで土曜日曜とたくさん観戦できて楽しかったです。
ときど軍団のみんな、ありがとう。

どうもこちらこそいい夢見させてもらいました。プイさんの誘いが無かったらニュートン行かずに静岡行ってたところなので。
あとチーム戦が交友関係とかの差をモロに受けるというのは事実ですが、一方で個人戦だと｢たまたま｣あるキャラがその苦手キャラに当たった場合にどうしようもなくそこらへんのカバーが出来ないのでやはりチーム戦は妥当かなと思います。どっかの小さな大会では｢個人戦だけどキャラ変更あり｣というのはありましたが複数キャラちゃんと動かせる人なんてそう多くはないですし。

なるほど。総当たり戦をやるのでない限り個人戦でもチーム戦でもそれぞれの不確定な要素が入ってきちゃうのね。
